Martin County administrator celebrates clerk & comptroller

Timmann installed as president of Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Association

On Wednesday, June 8, Martin County Clerk & Comptroller Carolyn Timmann was installed as president of the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Association for 2022-23. She was elected by her peers and sworn in by Martin County Sheriff William Snyder.

As Martin County Clerk & Comptroller, Timmann is Clerk of the Circuit Court, County Treasurer, Recorder, Auditor, Finance Officer and Clerk to the County Commission.

“Martin County is extremely fortunate to have Carolyn Timmann as our Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller,” County Administrator Taryn Kryzda said. “Previously an FCCC officer, and now elected by her peers as the President of the FCCC, further validates her professionalism and commitment to our community, our agency, clerks throughout the state and all of Florida.”

In her acceptance remarks, Timmann stressed “the importance of working together with both public and private partners toward the same goal of service with integrity and contributing to the physical and financial safety and security of the public.” She also highlighted the benefits of the collegial relationship she enjoys with her local county administration and local law enforcement.

In her role, Timmann and her office are instrumental in providing financial oversight and process improvement to the Martin County Board of County Commissioners. Kryzda said she is personally grateful to have Carolyn in her role and for the relationship they’ve built throughout the years.

“We are partners in creating a better Martin County and we are blessed and thankful to have Carolyn,” she said. “We celebrate this achievement with her and look forward to continued shared goals.”
