There are several community events planned in Fort Pierce to celebrate Juneteenth all week long starting on Monday, June 13.
Those include:
- June 13 – Libation Ceremony & Art Show – River Walk Center, 600 N Indian River Dr. – 5:30 p.m.
- June 14 – Uncrowned Kings & Queens Ceremony – Havert L Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Ave. – 7 p.m.
- June 15 – Noon Day Prayer – Triumph Church, 1806 Ave. D – noon
- June 16 – Youth Speak Up Speak Out – City Commission Chambers, 100 N. US 1 – 10 a.m.
- June 17 – Peace Walk, 21st Street & Ave. Q – Line up starts at 9-10 a.m.
- June 17 – Youth Water Fun Day, Horatio Grisby Baseball Fields located at N. 13th Street & Ave. O, 11 a.m.
- June 17 – City of Fort Pierce Freedom Block Party, Incubate Neighborhood Center, 532 N. 13th Street – 5 p.m.
- June 18 – Community Celebration of Freedom, Lincoln Park Community Center, 1306 Ave. M – 11 a.m.
- June 18 – Second Annual Juneteenth Freedom Fest, Dreamland Park, 301 S. 25th Street – 1 p.m.
- June 19 – Prayer in the Park, Dreamland Park, 301 S. 25th Street – 1 p.m.
