Multiple community events planned in Fort Pierce to celebrate Juneteenth

There are several community events planned in Fort Pierce to celebrate Juneteenth all week long starting on Monday, June 13.

Those include:

  • June 13 – Libation Ceremony & Art Show – River Walk Center, 600 N Indian River Dr. – 5:30 p.m.
  • June 14 – Uncrowned Kings & Queens Ceremony – Havert L Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Ave. – 7 p.m.
  • June 15 – Noon Day Prayer – Triumph Church, 1806 Ave. D – noon
  • June 16 – Youth Speak Up Speak Out – City Commission Chambers, 100 N. US 1 – 10 a.m.
  • June 17 – Peace Walk, 21st Street & Ave. Q – Line up starts at 9-10 a.m.
  • June 17 – Youth Water Fun Day, Horatio Grisby Baseball Fields located at N. 13th Street & Ave. O, 11 a.m.
  • June 17 – City of Fort Pierce Freedom Block Party, Incubate Neighborhood Center, 532 N. 13th Street – 5 p.m.
  • June 18 – Community Celebration of Freedom, Lincoln Park Community Center, 1306 Ave. M – 11 a.m.
  • June 18 – Second Annual Juneteenth Freedom Fest, Dreamland Park, 301 S. 25th Street – 1 p.m.
  • June 19 – Prayer in the Park, Dreamland Park, 301 S. 25th Street – 1 p.m.
