Port St. Lucie and Career Source Resource Coast hosting in-person job fair

Free event taking place June 29 at Port St. Lucie Community Center

A large contingent of employers are scheduled to attend the upcoming free job fair hosted by the City of Port St. Lucie and Career Source Resource Coast.

It will take place Wednesday, June 29 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Port St. Lucie Community Center, located at 2195 S.E. Airoso Blvd. Veterans can participate early, starting at 3 p.m. Visit www.cityofpsl.com/jobfair to pre-register.

The event seeks to help local job seekers find employment. It is open to any local business seeking employees. Vendor space is limited. Preregistration is required for employers. To reserve a space, visit www.cityofpsl.com/jobfair.

Preparation is key to making a great first impression, so candidates are encouraged to dress for success and bring copies of their resume. Prospective employees are encouraged to attend CareerSource Research Coast’s workshops on Application and Resume Success, Interview Preparation and Job Fair Preparation before the event. Workshops are virtual and available through the end of June.

As of Wednesday, June 8, employers from St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties scheduled to attend the job fair included FCC Environmental Services Florida, St. Lucie Clerk and Comptroller, St. Lucie Public Schools, Southern Eagle Distributing, Wickshire Senior Living, Bankers Life, A-1 Industries, Tail Gators Brews & Grill, DM Food of Port St. Lucie Inc., Palm City Millwork, N2 Kitchens and Baths, Regina Providing Care, Inc., Martin County Board of County Commissioners, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida and the City of Port St. Lucie.
