Port St. Lucie staging meeting on multimodal transportation options

In-person meeting taking place June 20 at Community Center; Zoom option available

The City of Port St. Lucie wants to provide residents and visitors with multimodal transportation options, so officials are hosting a meeting to discuss Phase 2 of their Mobility Plan.

Residents are invited to attend the meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, June 20. Those wanted to attend in person should come to the Community Center, located at 2195 Airoso Blvd. A Zoom option also is available. Register for the virtual meeting by clicking HERE.

A Mobility Plan is a forward-looking and progressive approach to integrating land use and transportation improvements that provide people with the opportunity to safely, comfortably and conveniently walk, bicycle, ride transit, drive or use new technology to move around their city.

Mobility fees are allowed to be collected from new development and redevelopment to fund the plan under Florida statutes, as a proportionate fee for development impacts to the transportation network.
