
The Port St. Lucie Police Department is searching for a man wanted in connection with multiple vehicle burglaries.
Between March and April, police received calls about a rash of auto burglaries in the southwest region of the City. Cash, credit cards, a .45-caliber handgun and wallets were reported stolen.
Detectives conducted a thorough investigation and identified the suspect as 32-year-old Jake Alexander. He is being sought by officers and has multiple active warrants for the burglaries.

“As a reminder to the community, please remove valuables and lock your car,” the police department posted on its Facebook page.
